The Theoretical Faculty organizes the admission examination process for the following master’s degree programs:

ADMISSION EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
Session I
Registrations: July 9-10, 2024
Admission Examination: July 11-12, 2024
Session II
Registrations: September 4-6, 2024
Admission Examination: September 11-13, 2024
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Candidates must register at the faculty secretariats with a file containing:
– A4 Envelope folder
– Registration form – provided by the faculty secretariats – completed and signed by the candidate
– High school diploma or equivalent and transcripts, in original
– Bachelor’s degree / certificate of completion of undergraduate studies, in original (if the candidate is also registered at another faculty, copies certified by the originating faculty will be attached instead of the originals) and diploma supplement in original
– Birth certificate (photocopy)
– Identity card (photocopy)
– Marriage certificate (photocopy), if applicable
– Medical certificate issued by the family doctor
– Four ¾ cm colour photographs (ID card size)
– Receipt proving payment of the admission fee
– Curriculum Vitae CV
– Dissertation Project Intention for the specialization exam, typed in one physical copy and in electronic format (pdf)
– For the Musical Arts specialization (in English), a language proficiency certificate, minimum B2 level or higher, issued by authorized linguistic centres. Candidates who can prove that they have completed their undergraduate studies in English will not need to present a new language certificate.
EXEMPTIONS FROM THE ADMISSION FEE
– Children of active or retired teaching and auxiliary teaching staff
– Children of the teaching, auxiliary, and administrative staff of the “Gheorghe Dima” National Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca
– Children with one or both deceased parents, as well as children from single-parent families
– Individuals at risk of losing their ability to meet daily living needs due to illness, disability, or poverty
