The Faculty of Musical Interpretation ensures the artistic training of students in the fields of instrumental and vocal performance, musical theatre direction, and choreographic direction and pedagogy.
The Faculty of Musical Interpretation comprises three departments:
– Department of String, Wind, and Percussion Instruments
– Department of Keyboard Instruments and Instrumental Ensembles
– Department of Vocal Studies and Performing Arts
Specializations (study programs):
- Musical Interpretation – Instruments
– String instruments (violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, harp); wind and percussion instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, saxophone, percussion)
– Keyboard instruments (piano, organ, harpsichord)
Undergraduate studies – 4 years, full-time courses, 240 credits, accredited program.
Occupations corresponding to the qualifications obtained by graduates: orchestra or chamber ensemble instrumentalist, solo instrumentalist, accompanist pianist, rehearsal accompanist, instrument teacher in vocational education at the primary and secondary levels (with DPPD module 1), music instructor, music consultant.
