International Relations

For ANMGD, internationalization represents a fundamental pillar in the development of the quality of education, artistic creation, and research. We approach internationalization as an essential tool for improving and diversifying the curriculum, accessing high-quality research and documentation resources, facilitating the mobility of human resources (whether it be teaching staff, administrative staff, students, or doctoral students), and modernizing infrastructure, including the digitization of academic processes.

ANMGD ensures the best conditions for carrying out international actions by organizing international artistic and scientific events, participating in large-scale international projects, and developing partnerships, alliances, and consortia with prestigious university and cultural institutions from abroad.

 

The ANMGD’s International Relations aims to:

  • Develop and manage international partnerships by collaborating with universities and cultural institutions worldwide to create opportunities for exchange and collaboration;
  • Promote the mobility of students, teaching staff, and administrative staff through exchange programs and international mobility (Erasmus+), enrich the educational and professional experience of our academic community;
  • Organize international events such as conferences, congresses, symposia, festivals, and international competitions;
  • Promote cultural diversity and inclusion providing a diverse and accessible academic environment, where students and staff from all corners of the world are welcomed and valued;
  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise among teaching staff and researchers to share knowledge and develop new international research projects;
  • Attract international funds and grants by accessing funding opportunities to support international projects;
  • Integrate the values of the Cluj musical school into the global educational, scientific, and cultural circuit owing to promote the values and traditions of our musical school on the international stage;
  • Disseminate information on opportunities for participation in international mobility and projects by ensuring quick and easy access to information about international mobility and collaboration opportunities.

 

The International Relations Department is structured into four specialized offices, each with a well-defined role:

  • International Projects Office: Coordinates and manages ANMGD’s international projects;
  • Erasmus+ Office: Administers Erasmus+ programs and other mobility initiatives for students and staff;
  • International Students Office: Provides support and guidance to international students, ensuring a smooth and pleasant integration into our academic community;
  • Public Relations and Marketing Office: Promotes the academy’s activities and achievements internationally, consolidating ANMGD’s image and prestige on the global stage.

 

Through our constant efforts in internationalization, ANMGD is committed to contributing to the development of a global academic community where education, research, and artistic creation harmoniously blend to promote excellence and innovation in the field of music.
