About Us
Within the activities carried out by CICGC, over 1200 undergraduate, master, and doctoral students enrolled in full-time courses receive counselling either individually or in group activities by the 8 committee members. These members include teaching staff, a student representative, and a representative from the (artistic) Projects Department. The Centre does not have dedicated staff positions specifically for the planned activities. CICGC has a dedicated office within the institution, where students can request counselling according to a schedule that is updated annually. On average, 8 hours of counselling are scheduled per week, depending on the needs and requests of the students. Annually, CICGC conducts group counselling activities through the FDI – NAMGD Project, Access and Mobility – The Guarantee of Development (project director Univ. Prof. Veronica Marta Negreanu, Ph.D.), and the SOL Project – Supported, We Can Obtain the Degree (project director: Assoc. Prof. Kalló Ildikó, Ph.D.). These activities include courses, tutoring, meetings with industry personalities, guided visits to relevant institutions, preparatory meetings for admission to undergraduate and master`s studies, or for completing the bachelor`s and dissertation theses.
The Career Information, Counselling, and Guidance Centre aims to assist students for better information and career orientation, both during their studies and in the post-university stages. Through its services, the centre complements the educational offer with competent support, individually or collectively, for personal and professional development.
